Drip edge is the first item. It is the metal strip at the roof perimeter that directs water into the gutter rather than allowing it to run behind, and older roofs frequently lack it entirely. My fascia is rotting. Is that a roof problem?
Often it starts as a gutter problem. Blocked gutters overflow backwards under the shingle edge and into the fascia. We will identify which it is, because repairing fascia without fixing the cause simply buys a couple of years.
Do you clear gutters as part of a roof job?
We clear them of roofing debris as part of cleanup. Ongoing gutter maintenance is separate, but if we see a blockage causing a roof problem we will tell you.
Do you charge for an inspection?

How quickly can you get out to me?
Usually the same day or the next. Active leaks take priority, so call rather than emailing if water is coming in.
Can you replace fascia and soffit at the same time?
Yes, and doing it alongside a re-roof is much cheaper than as a separate job because the access is already in place. It comes up often here given the debris load from the tree canopy.
